About the Doctor

Christopher J. Riegel, M.D., FACOG is a board-certified physician specializing in Obstetrics and gynecology in solo private practice since 1992 with offices behind Presbyterian Hospital in Plano. He is happily married to Pam, a former labor and delivery nurse. They are busy raising their three sons; Scott, Stephen and Spencer. Dr. Riegel and his family attend Prestonwood Baptist Church, where he proudly serves as a Deacon and Deacon team captain.

Dr. Riegel is a nationally-recognized expert and pro-life advocate. He was an expert witness in the US Supreme Court case "Stenberg v. Carhart" regarding partial birth abortion. He was brought to Washington DC by representative J.C. Watts to educate the US House of Representatives on partial birth abortion prior to their historic vote.

Dr. Riegel has many interests outside of his practice. He is a medical consultant for numerous TV news stations and news print media He has served as a contributing editor in women's health for SHINE Magazine. He has recently completed the outline of a novel and has a series of children's books in the development stage. He built a 1950’s train town with Department 56 buildings and vintage trains in a “Polar Express” theme for his sons.
